Pushing both lanes at the same time is a strategy I rarely use, but with this deck it is a very good strategy as you have so many good troops to split push with.
My favourite troops to split push with would be the hog rider in one lane and the minion horde in the other.
If you play this right after your opponent drops and elixir collector he has no way to defend it. He has to choose one lane to defend in as you can see here, and you are able to get to the other tower unhindered and deal a ton of damage.
My hog rider actually got one last hit in here and brought the tower town to hit points. Not a bad way to start the game!

Wondering on your thoughts. Thanks for the great posts. I had the same issues when I tried out a deck similar to that one. Basically when the royal giant is coming I have issues killing it fast enough without wasting too many troops on it.
I like to have barbarians or minion horde to kill the royal giant and both of those take out sparky in no time as well. I face a lot of royal giants so I really need a deck that deals with it well.

All your changes makes for higher elixir cost though, no problem cycling through and getting the hog when needed?
How do you defend against Royal Giant with a Wizard in the back? The only other stop gap is to place the Cannon to slow the RG while the Wizard catches up but timing and placement is not easy to get RG in range and keep the Wizard approaching too.
Well that is one of the most difficult combination to deal with. Even worse when a sparky is coming along as well. Of course, since no new troops are unlocked in Arena 9, the two arenas will have similar best decks but usually in Arena 9, all decks have legendaries.
Ill try to keep these decks as legendary free as possible. This is my personal deck at the moment and it works absolutely amazingly in Arena 8.
Of course, there is the small struggle of getting both the princess and the miner, but if you do this is perfect to use. Usually, you want the miner in the front of your push, with a series of 2 troops behind, 1 support and 1 offensive.
The 2 supports you can use are fire spirits and princess while the 2 offensive units are mini-P. A number of different pushes means lots of success.
